Timeless Jewelry Classics: The Gold Pieces Every Collection Needs

Trends come and go, but some pieces of jewelry stay. They go with almost any outfit, can be worn for years and never look dated.

In this article, we present the gold classics that form the backbone of a jewelry collection – and show how to combine them with current pieces.

What makes a classic

A classic convinces with a clear shape, good craftsmanship and versatility. It looks just as right at the office as in the evening and can be combined differently with new pieces again and again.

Five gold pieces that always work

The fine gold chain

A simple chain of around 45 cm is the foundation of every collection. On its own it looks subtle, and it can later be complemented with a pendant or a second chain. Our guide How to Find the Right Chain Length shows which length suits you.

The link bracelet

Whether curb, anchor or box chain: a gold link bracelet is robust, suitable for everyday wear and goes equally well with a watch and a bangle.

The bangle

A gold bangle sets a calm, elegant accent. Worn alone it looks classic, combined it looks modern. You will find a selection among our bangles.

The simple gold ring

A slim band or a ring with a single stone accompanies you every day and can later be combined with other rings.

The hoop earring

Gold hoops have been among the most popular earrings for decades. Small designs are suitable for everyday wear, larger ones make a statement in the evening.

Combining classics and trends

Classics form the calm foundation, current pieces add accents. For example, combine a fine chain with an eye-catching pendant or a simple link bracelet with a modern bangle. This keeps your look up to date without constantly having to renew your collection.
